Mother’s Day Bouquet
Mother’s Day Bouquet, Mother’s Day traditions tend to be simple and sweet – you can take your mom out for brunch, children do crafts and make cards, and of course, you can just treat your mother to some flowers. Red and pink roses, mums and lillies are some of the most common flowers used in Mother’s Day bouquets, according to Rosemary Bobadilla, a floral arranger at San Gabriel Nursery and Florist.
The 2-acre retail shop was bustling with activity Saturday, and the florists expected plenty of orders through the big day Sunday. “Very busy, both inside and outside,” Bobadilla said. “Tomorrow, who knows what time we’ll close.”
Not every Mother’s Day gift fits the traditional types of flowers, however.
