Zach Braff West End, Scrubs and GardenState star Zach Braff is to make his UK stage-acting debut in his new comedy, All New People, which is coming to Glasgow next year.

The play, written by Braff – who also wrote and directed acclaimed indie movie GardenState – will be directed by award-winning Peter Dubois.

All New People will open at the King’s Theatre, Glasgow on Tuesday 14th February for one week before arriving in London for a strictly limited 10-week run at the Duke of York’s Theatre in the West End.

On coming to Glasgow Zach said: “I’ve never been to Scotland, so I’m so excited to go and so honoured that I get to perform my play for a Glasgow audience.

“I’ve seen such beautiful pictures of Scotland and I’m buying a guide book tomorrow. I’ve heard a lot about the thriving cultural scene there, but I’ve never had the opportunity to visit. Hopefully I’ll meet some locals who can clue me in to all the cool places to explore.”

Best known for the smash-hit TV comedy Scrubs – nominated for 17 Emmy Awards and watched by over 22 million people worldwide – Braff is a three-time Golden Globe nominee and Grammy Award winner.
